Early careers
Graduates and trainees.
The largest group of people who want to work here, and the group most often given one line of text. Applications are open continuously.
What to expect
Year one, honestly.
Written by the people who review the work you would be doing.
- What you will do in year one
- Support on audit fieldwork and compliance filings, with your own sections to prepare and defend at review.
- What we look for
- Care with detail, willingness to say when you do not understand something, and the ability to write a clear sentence.
- Qualification support from the start
- Study support begins in year one rather than after a probationary period, and the entitlement is set out in writing before you accept.
Hiring process
The same four stages as any other role.
Nothing about the early-careers process is a shortened version of it.
Application review
Read by a person in the practice you applied to, not filtered by keyword. You get an answer either way.
Introductory conversation
Thirty minutes on what you have done and what you want next. Not a test.
Technical discussion
A conversation about real work, with the person who would review yours. Bring questions.
Offer and terms
Terms in writing, with the reasoning behind the level and the band explained.
Apply
How to apply.
Send a CV and a short note — a few sentences on why advisory rather than industry, and which practice interests you. We read it and reply either way.
Specific study support, leave and salary terms are confirmed in writing before an offer is accepted.

Start with a short note.
A CV and a few sentences is enough. You will hear back either way.

What follows
- A person in the relevant practice reads it, not a routing queue.
- One reply that already contains a view, not a request to book a call.
- A written scope and fee basis, or a straight answer that there is no work to do.
- Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 – 18:00 GST
